NYC Advertising Challenge

Uncommon Union collaborated on a campaign to introduce the Pull City platform through the NYC Advertising Challenge, a program aimed at empowering students from underserved communities by immersing them in real-world advertising projects. Supported by the NYC Department of Education’s CTE team and Manhattan Early College for Advertising (MECA), the program gave students the opportunity to work on actual campaigns for NYC companies.

Uncommon Union’s role was critical in several areas:

• Strategic Planning
: The team guided students in creating an advertising campaign for Brooklyn Pull, a pilot project of Pull City, which aimed to build local supply chains through advanced technology.
• Execution and Management: Students developed a landing page, sales funnel, and a Google Ad campaign, with professional mentorship and feedback throughout the seven-week period.
• Educational Impact: The program not only provided students with hands-on experience in advertising but also introduced them to community-building solutions using innovative technology.

The campaign’s success was recognized at a closing ceremony, drawing attention from local media and industry leaders, and further demonstrating Uncommon Union’s commitment to technological innovation and educational development.
