Luis Moreno Ocampo

The 21st century revolution is to apply the law.

Uncommon Union is honored to be working with Luis Moreno-Ocampo, the first Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Ocampo was instrumental in establishing the ICC in The Hague during his tenure (June 2003- June 2012). The creation of an international court to protect human rights is a longtime goal of the United Nations which has now been realized due to the foresight and commitments of individuals like Ocampo. The office of the ICC prosecutor engaged the most serious crises and human rights violations of the 21st century in Iraq, Korea, Afghanistan, and Palestine. Ocampo oversaw investigations in seven different countries including Libya and Sudan.
